The New Mexican Government In a world that is ever changing, Mexico is not insusceptible to change. From a country that has been seeing mounting national problems and growing expansion worldwide, there is much to be seen in the coming years of how the new government will mold the future of Mexico. This panel addresses how the past has affected the present in MExico and what may be done to change the future. How will Mexico’s new government tackle the increasing violence of the drug cartels? What can be changed or done differently in dealing with this violence? As the world shrinks by globalization, what role has Mexico taken in the global hemisphere? How have they changed from isolationism to globalism? With a new president will there be a consensus of reform in the system? What obstacles are there to be faced? These are a few of the questions this panel addressed.
