Welcome to The Department of Counseling/Human and Organizational Studies located at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Our location allows us to provide an unique program designed to prepare highly knowledgeable, competent helping professionals and to conduct research and community outreach for the purpose of facilitating and enhancing human development, learning, adjustment, and change in the personal, interpersonal, organizational and societal spheres. We accomplish this through education, research, and training programs in counseling rehabilitation, and human resource development.
