Discounts Just a GWorld Card Away

GW employees can save on everything from pizza to clothes to car rentals. Here’s a roundup of some of the discounts available to GW faculty and staff with a GWorld card.

AT&T Wireless
Receive 5 percent off of services and 30 percent off of equipment, along with other special offers. To shop for new equipment/plans or to apply the discount to a current plan, go to http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/ and enter your GW e-mail address.

Club Quarters Hotels
Club Quarters, a private full-service hotel chain, offers discounted rates as low as $56 a night for faculty, staff, alumni, family, and friends. Club Quarters hotels are located in a variety of metropolitan areas, including New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. Large one-topping pizza for $7.99 at the 2029 K Street, NW, location. Use your GWorld card to obtain discount.

Enterprise Rent-a-Car
Corporate discount rate when renting a car in Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia. Discount varies depending on season. Use your GWorld card to obtain discount.

GW Bookstore
Receive 10 percent off on textbooks, gifts, general books, clothing, and supplies with your GWorld card.

GW Dining
Receive a 10 percent discount on all food purchased from J Street, District Market, Ames Dining Room, and Java City when paying with your GWorld card. For a listing of food vendors offered in J Street, visit http://gworlddining.com/jstreet.html.

Kinko’s
Receive a 30 percent discount for copying orders at the Kinko’s in the Marvin Center and at 2020 K Street. Use your GWorld card to obtain discount.

La Prima Catering
Receive a 10 percent discount at the restaurant’s 2000 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, location. Use GWorld card to obtain discount.

Travel Program
The GW Alumni Travel Program is now open to faculty and staff. Destinations in 2008 include Peru, South Africa, Holland, Italy, China, and France.
