Summer Business Institute

GW Summer Business Institute: The GW Summer Business Institute is an intensive, 4-week Business Boot Camp for non-business majors. Students learn business fundamentals and skills necessary for success in any organization, whether in the corporate, government, or non-profit sectors. Open to juniors, seniors, and recent grads, the program also helps students plan their career path and sharpen their job search skills.

Event Management: Part of The George Washington University’s International Institute of Tourism Studies (IITS), this program is offered by university partners throughout the world and is the first comprehensive program in higher education providing classroom and distance learning courses based on industry certification requirements.

Center for Latin American Issues

CQMinerva: The Minerva Program is a sixteen-week economics training program especially designed for Brazilian government officials. The Program’s objective is to give the participants an accurate, though concise, summary of modern market economics. The program emphasizes the importance of good public administration and of responsible, ethical public servants.

Executive Development Program (EDP)

EDP: Located in GW’s School of Business, EDP prepares executives to become more effective leaders. EDP works with senior-level executives to understand their organizations‘ unique needs, and to design and deliver targeted, learning and development solutions. EDP provides in-depth services, including custom-designed programs, partner programs, open-enrollment programs, a speakers bureau, sponsored research and advising, as well as residency services for other educational institutions seeking the DC experience.
