Program Requirements

The Certificate in Aviation Safety and Security Management requires that participants complete a minimum of six courses.

These include:

  • Three core courses, one of which is a case study
  • Three electives.

The program allows you to either follow an integrated track (both airline and airport operations) or focus on either track by the electives you choose. The program is designed such that you would be able to complete your on-site courses in a two-week period. Upon completion of the minimum coursework (5), GW requires the case study to be completed prior to the start of the following session. The case study is an independent, mentored course to allow you to integrate your own experience and knowledge gained in the classroom in to a practical product.

TO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE IN AVIATION SAFETY AND SECURITY MANAGEMENT
  • You must complete FIVE 2-day courses
  • and a Case Study
Please note: You may enroll in any course without completing the Certificate Program.
