Aircraft Response and Firefighting
Needs Assessment Survey
Thank you for responding to this survey.
The Aviation Institute at The George Washington University
is conducting this survey in two parts: Part 1 consists
of Virginia and Maryland non-towered airports with
paved runways over 2,500 feet.
The information gathered during this phase will then
be used to redevelop the survey as Part 2; a national
survey of 3600 small "community" airports
around the nation.
You are encouraged to answer the questions in the
survey, as well as send our survey coordinator your
feed back about the form/function of the survey. Include
any comments about topics in the survey as well as
topics you feel should be included in future phases.
