GW's 2nd Annual Global Forum is coming to the Big Apple on October 28-29!
This special gathering will build on the success of GW's inaugural Global Forum Hong Kong, bringing together expert faculty and alumni speakers on timely global issues.
The forum provides alumni with an opportunity to network with prominent GW graduates, parents, students and friends in New York and to share insights with members of the GW's worldwide community.
J. Cabell Acree, III, LAW LLM '96, has been selected for inclusion in the 2010-2011 edition of Montclair Publishing Who's Who Among Law Professionals. Cabell recently joined Selman Munson & Lerner, P.C., a Houston/Austin-based law firm specializing in business and commercial transactions and corporate finance, as Of Counsel.
Eliot Bassin, GWSB BBA '04, and Leah (Wallick) Bassin, CCAS BA '04, were married at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, RI on October 31, 2009. More than 20 fellow Colonials attended the wedding.
Michael Ditkoff, GWSB MBA '81, recently retired from the federal government with 36 years of service. His last assignment was senior budget analyst with Department of Homeland Security's Citizenship and Immigration Services. Michael now has time to devote to his passion, dancing, and has filed his recertification papers to become a dance host on cruise ships.
L. Trenton Marsh, GSEHD MA '04, was selected as the keynote speaker for the University of the Virgin Islands - St. Croix & St. Thomas campuses New Student Orientation on August 16 and 18. The university purchased his book, From 1.0 to 4.0: Strategies for Collegiate and Academic Success for the incoming freshman class. Marsh, who is a member of GW's Luther Rice Society and a donor to the Mary Futrell Scholarship Fund, is pictured with University of the Virgin Islands President, Dr. David Hall.
