Sheri Abrams, LAW JD '94, recently authored a book entitled,Don't Gamble With Your Social Security Disability Benefits.
Philip Burdette, ESIA BA '91, has been named federal security director for Baltimore Washington International/Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Burdette will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations of BWI as well as managing overall security of the airport. Burdette has been acting federal security director since February 2010.
Naeto Chikwe, CCAS BS '04, was recently profiled in the Daily Record about his double life of masters degree seeking student and African hip-hop star. Under the stage name Naeto C, his 2008 debut album U Know My "P" sold more than three million copies and he was named best new artist at the MTV Africa Music Awards.
Rosemary McManus Coleman, GWSB EMBA '94 has been appointed as foundation vice president for Virtua. In this role, she will support health service programs and capital improvements throughout Virtua through fundraising. Before joining Virtua, McManus Coleman was vice president of Institutional Advancement and Planning at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
Marc Colton, GWSB BBA '79, recently launched Synagogue Management & Marketing LLC, a boutique consultancy firm specializing in the unique challenges facing religious and other not for profit institutions. Colton is pleased to provide a complimentary phone consultation to his fellow GW Alumni.
Eddy Copot, ESIA BA '06, and Holly Jarecki were married on June 26 in Elmhurst, Ill. Holly is a graduate of Elmhurst College and will be teaching elementary education this fall. Eddy is currently working in local government and will be attending The John Marshall Law School in fall 2010.
