After a week of reporting, the military cancelled the contract.

Emily Barson, CCAS BA '03, and Matthew Thornton, were married May 30 in Philadelphia. Read the couple's wedding announcement in The New York Times.

Roslyn M. Brock, GWSB MS '89, was selected as the new chairman of the National Board of Directors for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in February. Brock is also a vice president of the Bon Secours Health System in Marriottsville, Md. She is the chief spokeswoman for Bon Secours on government relations, advocacy and public policy.
