Husani Bastien, CCAS BA '96, GWSB MS '98, has just embarked on a new retail venture called Bastien's Foundations. His flagship store, located in Gaithersburg, MD, provides bra and lingerie lines serving the full cup woman.
Steven M. Braunstein, GWSB BA '86, a 24-year Snyder Cohn veteran, has been promoted to President. In this role Steve maintains his hands-on client responsibilities as well as day-to-day oversight and leadership of the firm's operations and its more than 75 associates.
Jack Conway, LAW JD '95, attorney general for Kentucky, was featured in an article about his decision to run for the United States Senate.
Brian Donahue, CCAS BA '99, Matthew Dybwad, SMPA BA '99, Justin Germany GSPM '03; have recently started a new political consulting firm. CRAFT | Media / Digital is the first firm to integrate traditional media, mail, and digital communications. They serve both political and public affairs campaigns. Their clients include Rep. David Farmer, GWSB MBA '92, has joined Environics Communications, Inc., a full-service North American public relations agency, as a vice president in the Washington, D.C. office. Farmer, who has nearly 25 years of professional public relations and corporate communications experience domestically and internationally, will head the agency's expanding U.S. technology and telecommunications practice.
Meliha Pérez Halpern, ESIA BA '00, was appointed to the Board of Governors for the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC (TLA-DC). The organization, which is a voluntary, nonprofit bar association for D.C. area trial lawyers, is dedicated to upholding and safeguarding the civil justice system, and is the preeminent organization of lawyers in the region who principally represent plaintiffs in personal-injury, wrongful-death and civil-rights actions.
