Below is a snapshot of some recent alumni events in your neighborhood and across the globe.
June 7
Seventy-seven GW alumni, faculty, doctors, nurses, staff, and friends came out to support breast cancer research by running or walking the Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure 5K. The GW Colonials for the Cure team raised $2,866 for the Susan G. Komen breast cancer research foundation. Following the race, the team gathered at Alumni House for a brunch sponsored by the GW Alumni Association and the GW Public Health Alumni Association.

June 10
Approximately 25 alumni in Philadelphia gathered for a happy hour at TIME in Midtown Village. Pictured (left to right) are: Colleen Salonga, GWSB MBA ’04; regional volunteer Rachel Sigman, CCAS BA ’00; and Brian Gralnick, CCAS BA ’01.

June 15
The GW LGBT Alumni Association set up a table during the Capital Pride Street Festival in Washington, D.C. Alumni volunteers at the table collected almost 80 names of GW alumni and friends interested in supporting the LGBT Alumni Association.
