YoungJun Kim, PhD ’05, received the “Outstanding New Faculty Award” and the “Excellence in Scholarly Activity” award at Henderson State University in Arkansas, where he has been an assistant economics professor since 2005.
L. Trenton Marsh, MA ’04, was featured in the CNN weekly segment called “Young People who Rock.” The program interviews people under 30 who have made impressive accomplishments. Footage of the interview about his involvement with the abstinence organization “I am Worth the Wait” is available here.
Hillary B. Parsons, BA ’02, has joined the national litigation firm of Foley & Mansfield in the Minneapolis Toxic Torts and Mass Litigation group. Prior to joining Foley & Mansfield, Parsons served as a law clerk for the Honorable Gordon W. Shumaker at the State of Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Rehan Waheed, BA ’03, MA ’04, has entered first-year studies at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, in Lewisburg, W.Va. The school is known for its efforts in rural, family, and primary care medicine.

Carol Elder Bruce, BA ’71; A. Christopher Sega, MBA ’81; and Lawrence H. Gesner, BBA ’80, were all named to the Best Lawyers in America annual legal rankings guide. All three alums practice law at Venable LLP.
Ron Elberger, BA ’66, was named to the Best Lawyers in America 2008 edition. Elberger, from Indiana firm Bose McKinney & Evans, represents Aron Ralston, the rock climber who has received much media attention after he cut off his own arm in order to survive during a climbing accident.
Richard Grauer, JD ’65, of Rader, Fishman & Grauer in Michigan was named to the Best Lawyers in America list and the Michigan Super Lawyers list. Grauer is a founding member of Rader, Fishman & Grauer and has more than 40 years of intellectual property experience.
Richard Kobdish, LLM ’73, from Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.’s Dallas office is also a part of the Texas Super Lawyers list for 2007. He handles labor and employment law matters and is certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Paul Krieger, LLM ’71, was named to the Texas Super Lawyers 2007 list. At Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.’s Houston office, he heads the Intellectual Property and Technology Department and is a frequent lecturer and author on intellectual property topics.

Jim Repass, JD ’86, from Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.’s Houston office was named to the Texas Super Lawyers list for 2007. He handles intellectual property litigation and transactional matters and secures patents, trademarks and copyright protection from government agencies.
Terry Tottenham, LLM ’74, was named to the Texas Super Lawyers list for 2007. He is a part of the Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.’s Austin office and heads the firm-wide Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Litigation Practice Group.
