JOIN NEW YORK CARES DAY WITH GW ALUMNI
Join the New York Alumni Chapter as it participates in New York City’s largest day of volunteer service! Show that GW alumni care by becoming one of the 8,000 volunteers needed to revitalize more than 100 public schools.

Saturday, October 20
9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Sign up at www.newyorkcaresday.org and be sure to “join a team” and to select “George Washington University Alumni & Friends” from the drop-down menu. Team captain Jennifer Battista, BA ’94, will then e-mail details, including a meeting place, to all of the registrants prior to the event.

COUNTER)INDUCTION CONCERT AND RECEPTION FEATURING GW PROFESSORS – SAVE THE DATE!
Join fellow GW alumni and friends for a concert with counter)induction. The concert, titled Song & Dance, will highlight the artistry of two GW professors. The piece A Book of Songs was composed by Assistant Professor of Music Douglas Boyce and will be performed by Assistant Professor of Music Robert Baker (tenor).

counter)induction is a composer/performer collective committed to the notion that contemporary music can and should be both accessible and challenging. It celebrates the diversity of contemporary music by presenting the best, most innovative new music to both new and established audiences.
