Director of Athletics Jack Kvancz announced last month that GW has extended men’s basketball head coach Karl Hobbs’ contract through June 2012.

Hobbs, who is in his seventh season at GW, has an overall career record of 114-65. He has led the Colonials to NCAA Tournament appearances in each of the past three seasons and two Atlantic 10 Conference tournament titles in the last three seasons.
