Join the GW Red Scarf Project!

The Orphan Foundation of America (OFA) is launching its annual Red Scarf Project, and GW has decided to participate for the second year in a row. Knit warmth and encouragement to America's foster college-bound students. OFA needs 7,000 handmade scarves for their Winter Care Packages to foster and orphaned students attending college, and we need your help! Your hand-knit scarf will let these students know that someone cares.

The GW Red Scarf Project has set a goal of 500 hand-knit scarves, and we need them by October 15 so that we may include them in the care packages. Crocheted scarves are welcome too! Scarves should be red or other unisex colors, at least 5 inches wide and at least 60 inches long.

Please mail scarves to: GW Red Scarf Project
