The GW Colonial Dragons, a boating team made up of 12 GW alumni, won silver and bronze medals in the Washington, D.C., Dragon Boat Festival in May. With support from a grant from the George Washington Alumni Association, the team competed against other community groups at the Thompson Boat Center on the Potomac River and won second and third place in two events. They were cheered on by many alumni and friends during the competition.
