MESSAGE FROM MORY

Hello Fellow Colonials —

The warmth of spring is bringing renewed activity to GW’s campuses. Students are gathering outside to study and socialize, intramural sports are in full swing, and faculty are taking advantage of the pleasant weather by holding classes on the lawn in Kogan Plaza.

Meanwhile, GW is moving toward great things. In March, the D.C. Zoning Commission approved the University’s applications for its 20-year Foggy Bottom Campus Plan. This will allow GW to grow and accommodate its academic and student housing needs while respecting surrounding areas, including residential neighborhoods and historic spots.

The Office of Alumni Relations is also growing and coming up with more ways to enhance your relationship with GW—including many new benefits and services. Please take note of the new “Alumni Benefits” section in this issue of the Colonial Cable. Each month, we will tell you about ways you can take advantage of all that GW has to offer.

Warm regards,

Scott M. Mory, BA 96, JD 99
Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations and Annual Giving
