MEN’S A-10 CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT PACKAGES – ON SALE
A-10 Men’s Basketball Tournament tickets are
now available for purchase through the Office of Alumni Programs. The tournament runs from March 7-10,
2007 at historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, and the Colonials will
play their first game on Thursday night at 9 p.m.
The Office of Alumni Programs is selling blocks of tickets for each day. Wednesday and Thursday’s blocks include 4 games on each day, Friday’s block includes the doubleheader, and Saturday is the final round. GW’s tickets are located in sections 123, 220, and 221.

KING TUT AT THE FRANKLIN INSTITUTE – SOLD OUT
The GW Alumni Association is proud to present Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs. Please join us as Eric Cline, chair of the department of classical and Semitic languages and literatures, and GW associate professor of classics and anthropology, presents a closer look at King Tut and Egyptian archeology. After the lecture and lunch, guests will walk over to the Franklin Institute to view the King Tut exhibit.
The exhibit includes 50 major objects excavated from Tutankhamen’s tomb, including his royal diadem and one of the gold and precious stone inlaid canopic coffinettes that contained his mummified internal organs.
