The George Washington Alumni Association (GWAA) annually recommends a number of individuals to receive the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, the highest honor bestowed by the University on its alumni. These awards recognize University alumni who have attained notable achievements in their field or fields of endeavor. 

Additionally, the George Washington Alumni Association has implemented the Recent Alumni Achievement Award, which will be given for the first time in 2007. This award recognizes University alumni who have graduated in the last five years and have attained notable achievements in their fields of endeavor.

The GWAA Awards Committee is accepting open nominations of individuals who merit consideration for these awards. If you would like to nominate someone for either of these awards, click here for a nomination packet. Nomination forms are due no later than March 15, 2007. The 2007 recipients will be honored at a luncheon to be held on September 29, 2007.
