KING TUT EXHIBIT & LECTURE WITH GW PROFESSOR ERIC CLINE AT THE FIELD MUSEUM OF ART
The GW Alumni Association is proud to present Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs. Please join us as Eric Cline, chair of the department of classical and Semitic languages and literatures and GW associate professor of classics and anthropology, presents a closer look at King Tut and Egyptian archeology. After the lecture, guests will have an opportunity to explore the King Tut exhibit.

The exhibit includes 50 major objects excavated from Tutankhamun’s tomb, including his royal diadem and one of the gold and precious stone inlaid canopic coffinettes that contained his mummified internal organs.

The cost is $25 per person and includes lunch, the lecture, and an exhibit ticket. Tickets are limited, so please register by September 13. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the lecture beginning at 1:30 p.m. Parking is not included. For directions and more information regarding parking, please visit the Field Museum.
