The senior class is pleased to announce this year’s senior class gift: The Class of 2006 Community Service Project Fund. An endowed fund, this gift will enable students to coordinate community service projects on campus and in the D.C. area. Once the endowment matures, the seniors hope to award five $500 grants annually to finance service programs ranging from blood drives for the Red Cross to Foggy Bottom clean-up initiatives. Recognizing that community service was a vital part of their GW experience, the class hopes their gift will enable community service to remain an active part of student life for years to come.
