GW’s Elliott School of International Affairs is one of the top
schools in the nation for masters’ programs in international affairs,
according to a survey reported in the most recent issue of Foreign
Policy. James Rosenau, professor of international affairs, was
ranked 13th among the most influential scholars in the nation, and Martha
Finnemore, professor of political science and international affairs,
was noted as one of the scholars who is conducting “the most interesting
