2006 Distinguished Alumni Achievement Awards

The George Washington Alumni Association annually recommends a number of individuals to receive the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, the highest honor bestowed by the University upon its alumni. These awards honor University alumni who have attained notable achievements in their field or fields of endeavor. The GWAA Awards Committee is accepting open nominations of individuals who merit consideration for this award. The 2006 recipients will be honored at a luncheon to be held on May 20.

2006 Alumni Service Awards

The George Washington Alumni Association’s Alumni Service Award recognizes alumni volunteer service to the University, to the GW Alumni Association, to any of the constituent alumni organizations, and to the community at large. The GWAA Awards Committee is accepting open nominations of individuals who merit consideration for this award. The 2006 recipients will be honored at the annual meeting of the GW Alumni Association, on June 7, 2006.

If you have previously nominated alumni who have not been selected as recipients, please feel free to resubmit the nomination with updated supporting information. In order to allow sufficient time to consider nominees, nominations for both awards are due on or before October 26, 2005. Nominations received after this date may not be considered.
