GW’s Endowment earned a 15.35 percent return in the 12 months ending June 30, 2005, producing dollar gains of $113 million, and bringing the total assets to $823 million. The Endowment’s investment performance is compared to a blended benchmark based on a target allocation to individual asset classes. The benchmark gained 9.36 percent for the fiscal year. The Endowment’s three-year annualized return of 14.05 percent well outperformed the broad U.S. equity market as represented by the S&P 500 return of 8.28 percent.
