Former GW baseball player Sam Perlozzo has been named interim manager of the Baltimore Orioles. After graduating from GW in 1973, Perlozzo played for both the Minnesota Twins and San Diego Padres. He was the bench coach for the Orioles for the last five seasons. Perlozzo is the first GW alumnus to manage a major league team. For more news on GW Athletics, please visit their website.
