Alumni Trustee Selection Process
The University's Bylaws provide that seven members of the GW Board of Trustees will be Alumni Trustees, of whom two must be Recent Alumni Trustees.
At the request of the Board of Trustees, the GWAA annually makes recommendations for individuals to serve in these positions.
The GWAA makes these recommendations according to a program statement it has adopted, and which has been endorsed by the Board of Trustees.
Please note that the GWAA Nominations Committee will host two conference calls with Recent Alumni Trustee Omar Woodard, ESIA ‘05, CCAS, 07, to help answer any questions related to the process and being a Recent Alumni Trustee.

The GWAA is currently accepting nominations for one Recent Alumni Trustee. Nominations must be received by Monday, October 24, 2011.

The new trustee's four-year term will begin July 1, 2012. Recent Alumni Trustee Omar Woodard, ESIA BA '05, CCAS MPA '07, will complete his term on June 30, 2012.
