Women's Leadership Conference

Held each spring, the Elizabeth Somers Leadership Center brings together an intergenerational audience of professional women – many of whom are alumnae – and students to discuss the personal and professional challenges facing women in the 21st century.

The 2008 conference, Challenging Limits, Reaching New Frontiers, was held April 4. For more information about the Women's Leadership Conference, visit our website.

Over the past three years, the conference has addressed such important issues as:

  • effective communication and listening skills;
  • negotiating your worth;
  • breaking the glass ceiling;
  • career building and development;
  • living the life you want;
  • gaining personal and career opportunities from professional,
    nonprofit, and social organizations; and
