Prior
to the campaign getting underway President Bush had already made 25
visits
to Pennsylvania (compared to 14 visits to Ohio). In the eight
months
leading up to Election Day he continued to put time into the state,
making
19 additional visits to the Keystone State (the same number as to Ohio,
although he spent a couple of more days in Ohio). Vice President
Cheney and Mrs. Cheney made fewer visits to Pennsylvania than to Ohio,
but did put quality time into Pennsylvania by doing three bus
tours.
All together the four principals made stops in 27 of Pennsylvania's 67
counties during the eight months leading up to Election Day.
